The MDDA holds many events for its members throughout the year. These include social gatherings for the celebration of Eids, medical conferences, lectures and our annual dinner.
Each of our conferences is designed to provide Muslim doctors and dentists an opportunity to share ideas and discuss the issues faced as we practise in modern Britain. We do not meet to give fatwas (religious opinions) but instead study the spectrum of Islamic opinion available on a particular issue and present it to delegates.
MDDA has held conferences through the UK. we have held lectures in London, Manchestrer, Coventry, Birmingham, Leeds and Leicester. We plan to hold lectures in the other major cities in the UK. |
